Lenny Lendon

Lenny Lendon sta per festeggiare il suo 40° anno di attività musicale, iniziata con il beat e che lo ha portato alla musica elettronica ambient meditativa. Ha traversato vari generi musicali, e filosofici. Ha pubblicato molti libri sulla filosofia orientale, perlopiù sullo Zen e il taoismo, saggi e romanzi, per i maggiori editori italiani. Crede nell’autorealizzazione attraverso una musica dello spirito, che bypassi il corpo e la mente. Dirige corsi di meditazione, ispirati al buddhismo e al sufismo, tutti basati su un uso intensivo della musica, soprattutto di sua composizione. È influenzato, non in ordine di rilevanza, da Nietzsche e Bob Dylan, Brian Eno e Stockhausen, William Burroughs, Walt Kelly e  John Cage. Ma è nudo.

Lenny Lendon is about to celebrate the 40th years of his music activity. He began with the beat of Sixties, and arrived at a mixture of electronics, ambient, and meditative sounds. He has followed various music currents, and philosophical tenets as well. The most relevant Italian publishers have published his books on Eastern thought, mostly on Zen and Taoism. He believes that one may be enlightened by means of spiritual music, bypassing the body and the mind. He runs meditation courses which have been inspired by Buddhism and Sufism. Even though influenced by Nietzsche, Bob Dylan, Brian Eno, Stockhausen, William Burroughs, Walt Kelly, and John Cage, he has remained a naked person.
